The postgre password is NOT what he needs, we are talking about apache here
and possibly mod_auth which uses the standard /etc/password shadow
scenario....
Seems like you are asking another question, if you want the password for
postgre, some people ssh in and su - to root then su to postgre and then
again some people read /etc/cobalt/.meta.id
Copy that password to the clipboard and use it to log in to postgre.....
But that will not help the original post-er
