DoS is very long issue to cover it on this list. It was/still
covered very well on Internet. Check with netstat status of opened
sockets. If most of them in state SYN_RECV this may indicate that
you suffer from SYNflood. Check also /var/log/httpd/acces or error
log files to find abnormal activities. Digging, digging and digging !

First of all check with top (P - sort by CPU, M - sort by MemUse)
what killing your computer.

Cluster of HTTP servers is just a number of HTTP servers
with the same content. You just have to add additional IP
address in DNS for this domain name. To illustrate it pls
do nslookup for www.yahoo.com. You'll see a number of IPs.
