[cobalt-users] mail server not responding msg

I get the following to the admin mailbox (I assume once the problem is
resolved, so mail goes through) every *now and then* on my RAQ3i:
-----------
The SMTP (mail) server appears to be down. The mail server may shut itself
down temporarily under extreme load, so you should also check the CPU load
on the server. If the load does not appear to be the problem, try turning
mail service off and then on within the Cobalt server Control Panel to see if
this corrects the problem. If not, try rebooting the server itself. If this
still does not correct the problem, contact Cobalt Technical Support.
-----------
CPU load appears to be very light; I start and stop and it comes back alive
... I've gotten it over time, but the strange thing is that I'll get this
(via admin email) a bunch of times over some time period then it just goes
away, then come back. The last time was probably 6+ months ago. Reboot does
not solve it either.
Is this a *common* problem? Any ideas on what to do about it, if anything?
Thanks,
Jale, until recently relying on the developers list for stuff like this,
but someone posted a link on that list telling about this list, more
appropriate for most of my questions :)
