I know that, I was asking if you need to fix the OTHER sites, as in when this script is _needed_, does mail get screwed up as well?

That script will not fix the server site (Admin site)
It will fix all the others.....
Someone suggested that you go to control panel -> network
change the host name - save
the change it to the proper name and save
