According to a previous post it is possible to use the rewrite rules
in order to serve an https website, even when an http url is
provided. Is it possible to do this in an endusers directory in the
.htaccess file.
I am starting to provide a lot of services requiring
authentication. The personal setting page comes with the server. I've
added openweb mail. These both use password authentication. Now I
need to add authentication to various web sites as well as to samba
shares. Is there a standard, secure, recommended way, so that users
can have one password that will stay in synch.
