[cobalt-users] Mailing list management and the mail server

I may have needed to ask this long before I started setting up my RaQ,
and it's OK if it really is too late now.

For a variety of reasons, e.g. having two nics and an inside and
outside network and supporting one site which I want reachable from
both a lib.ny.us and .org address, I am having some mail-server
problems.

I would like it so that

A. All e-mail to the outside looked like it was coming from the same
place, say e.g. sspl.org

B. The mailing list manager would recognize address from say,
e.g. sspl.org as the same as from saratoga.lib.ny.us

C. And that any other names would be dropped. So if I have a site,
mars.saratoga.lib.ny.us e-mail sent from and to their would be
recognized as local to my server, even though it is from bob@xxxxxxxxx

I believe for a large part my problems come from using a device
configured for ISPs to manage both web and e-mail for a variety of
sites. While I can use the variety of sites, I want e-mail related to
all of them to just be treated as if it came from the same server.
