This still seems to leave the www on new users.  Any other ideas?

Hello Bruce.

For old accounts:

User Preferences
Edit Personal E-Mail addresses
Enter Real Name
Enter E-mail Address
click add/modify

Back to user prefernces
From field there is a pull-down menu
select the email@xxxxxxxxxx format
click save to exist user prefernces

To change the OpenWenMail default configs to stop adding www to emails you are going to create later follow the instructions in the message below:
