I must admit the UK2 script is also one I use (for servers with them) - had to mod the mask line however as it only covers IP's on
the same subnet. I know it looks fine and if the paste the lines which produce the IP's and masks all looks well but in practice it
don't work :/
Had IP's 123.123.111.111 and 123.123.222.222 (examples) and UK2's script totally blocked all the second set IP's.
Although I have no idea whether what I've done is correct, it does work.
Modded:
OUTERMASK=`/sbin/ifconfig $OUTERIF | grep Mas | cut -d : -f 4`
to
OUTERMASK=255.255.0.0
Suggestions on a more elegant solution?
