I have a question regarding Name servers.

I have set up a domain which will act as my RAQ4r server name of
www.mydomain.co.uk
I would like this server to act as its own primary DNS, the co-lo has given
me a secondary name server to use.

Can I set up an A record to point ns.mydomain.co.uk to www.mydomain.co.uk
and then tell nominet that the primary DNS would be ns.mydomain.co.uk
instead of www.mydomain.co.uk

Or can A records not be set when it is the primary name server you are
redirecting ?

I would just wait for the name to propagate and then do some tests, but I
would like to get it sorted before the weekend.
