[cobalt-users] httpd not working on Raq4

My RaQ4 has been running fine since July 10 (see previous topic "RAQ4R -
Apache Patch & Web Server Not Responding"),
but at 4:00 am this morning I received the following email:

"The main web server appears to be down. Make sure that the server's
network interface has been correctly configured in the network control
panel. If it all looks correct, try rebooting the server; if this still
does not correct the problem, contact Sun Cobalt Technical Support."

I tried to restart httpd with the following result:

[root /root]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd restart
Shutting down Web Service:

/usr/lib/perl5/5
.00503/i386-linux/Data/Dumper.pm line 296, at end of line

The following is from the error log:

My co-locator, rackshack.net, says this resulted from my force install of
the Cobalt Apache patch rpms on July 10. It doesn't seem logical to me
since everything has been working for 5 days.

Does anyone have any idea how to get this machine back up short of a
restore.

Thanks for your help.
