OK, Last stupid question for a while (i hope)
i downloaded so PKG files from the cobalt site to patch security holes,
and i can't figure out how to install them
(i'm a solaris guy usually) and the pkgadd command doesn't work on the Cobalt.
Open the admin GUI and to to Maintanence
Then select Install Software at the top of the page
Depends on where the updates are as to the next step.
There are three choices.
First being you would put in a complete url to the package
The second to grab it off the machine you are working from
The third is if you have uploaded it to the Cobalt into the /home/packages
directory
Then click on the little magic button, "Install a '.pkg' Package"
