Hi Yah...
My last comments on the NTP Problem was:
"...Cheers Eddy, this wasn't really affecting the server but it was bugging
me knowing that it wasn't correct been eating away at me for weeks now. :)"
Well it's back again and niggling even more :) The system time is okay but
the hardware time is exactly 12 hours behind again. There doesn't seem to
be a time over which it changes, could be less than an hour could be 1/2 a
day. I'm going to put this down to an iffy motherboard - someone in
previous posts did mention this could be the problem.
ntpdate and rdate both control the system time and can be adjusted via GUI,
webmin and command line - what controls the hardware time and is there a
separate command for this? What makes that run differently from the system
time, why is there a hardware time?
AAAGGHHHH
