Thanks to everyone for replying :)

Results below using some of the listed NTP servers (both Primary and 
Secondary ones).

[admin@ns admin]$ /usr/sbin/ntpdate ntp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
 6 Jul 16:20:56 ntpdate[31110]: can't find host ntp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
 6 Jul 16:20:56 ntpdate[31110]: no servers can be used, exiting

 [admin@ns admin]$ /usr/sbin/ntpdate ntp.metas.ch
 6 Jul 16:22:16 ntpdate[31187]: bind() fails: Permission denied
[admin@ns admin]$

[admin@ns admin]$ /usr/sbin/ntpdate ntp1.fau.de
 6 Jul 16:23:31 ntpdate[31331]: bind() fails: Permission denied
[admin@ns admin]$

[admin@ns admin]$ /usr/sbin/ntpdate ntp-p1.obspm.fr
 6 Jul 16:24:36 ntpdate[31450]: bind() fails: Permission denied
[admin@ns admin]$

[admin@ns admin]$ /usr/sbin/ntpdate ntp.alaska.edu
 6 Jul 16:25:45 ntpdate[31502]: bind() fails: Permission denied
[admin@ns admin]$

The more I try the more bind errors I seem to get, tried about another 10 
different ones after that gave up, all come up with one of the above errors 
and that's not including the other two error messages I had earlier via the 
GUI and Webmin "not authorised and can't connect:37"

I'm going to do a Jeff special here <SIGH>
