Have you tried connecting to a different NTP server? Try this link and see
if there is another NTP you can use.

I have my own time server on one of my servers. I can go to it and set my
time fine.
If I try an use my Raq to connect to it, I get the last line above.
5 Jul 19:03:44 ntpdate[18865]: no server suitable for synchronization found
I was thinking it must be to do with ipchains or portsentry.
