Is the table in question created with the RAID_TYPE option set? Take
a look at:
http://www.mysql.com/doc/C/R/CREATE_TABLE.html
and look about 3/4 way down for the RAID_TYPE information, as I
suspect rather than upgrading the kernel (which isn't advisable on a
production RaQ/Cobalt system, AFAIK) you could use this, convert your table
to a RAID-like array of directories, splitting up the 2Gb limit.
