I installed the official Apache update (from SunSolve) on my RaQ 3 (using
/usr/local/sbin/cobalt_upgrade command) so I could check for any errors. All
looked good and then seeing that Sun states a reboot is required, I
initiated a reboot from the GUI, waited for it to come back up and checked
that web pages were functioning on both port 80 and 81 - which they are. :-)
But to see the upgrade in action I ran the eEye Retina Chunk Scanner against
my server which gave the following output for both ports.
Port 80: Apache/0.0.0 (Unix) VULNERABLE
Port 81: Apache/1.3.6 (Unix) mod_perl/1.21 mod_ssl/2.2.8
OpenSSL/0.9.2b Not Vulnerbale
came back up web pages worked fine on both port 80 and 81. But...
Can anyone tell me what I may have done wrong? Why is the Apache running on
port 80 still vulnerable and why is the version at 0.0.0?
Cheers,
Steven
