[cobalt-users] lost mysql.sock

How can I replace mysql.sock file? I don't see the mysql.sock file under
/var/lib/mysql. but when i try locate >> mysql.sock, I can see that its
there but physically its not.
oh, I'm running mysql on RaQ system
pleaseeeeee help.
