Eddy, it turns out it's probably NOT a hostname/domainname type issue
<frown>.
Here's some results from my RaQ4:
[admin admin]$ hostname
joshua.nobaloney.net
[admin admin]$ hostname -f
joshua.nobaloney.net
[admin admin]$ domainname
[admin admin]$ domainname -f
joshua.nobaloney.net
[admin admin]$
The RaQ3 shows similar results. Yet the RaQ3 shows return addresses as
<root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> while the RaQ4 shows return address as <root>.
Now that I've been proven wrong, any ideas?
Probably should be taken to the Mailhelp list; at least someone there
may know the setting that causes it to happen, so we can look for it and
happen; my bet is it's something in sendmail.cf.
