Hello All,
I just wanted to first say I deeply appreciate all the honest people
who are out there helping on this and all the other mail list I am on.
I fully understand that many of the more knowledgeable people on these
list are vendors who are helping and in return may get some business.
That's fine I have no problem with that at all and neither should
anyone else who has ever needed help.
However right here on this list one of the most prominent helpers has
shafted me for close to two thousand dollars, so far. I say so far
because that is the amount of the first of 3 payments. I have received
nothing and really upset because not only did i waste 2 grand but i am
now without the project. I gave the vendor more than ample time to
perform this project which was all in PHP. I am even more dismayed
because I considered the participants here as even more professional
than most all other list I am on.
No I don't need any shoulder to cry on but I wanted to warn others who
may be sucked into trusting blindly just anyone who has a web site and
offers services for sale and free friendly advice on this list. You
all know who this guy is and I will wait even longer to give justice a
chance before you all are made aware of who this is. Until then if you
have also had a bad experience on this list contact me I would like to
know if this is isolated or widespread. I am sure that this is an
isolated case as far as percentages go, because I have done thousands
of dollars of business over the web this is the first time I have not
received anything for my money.
I apologize to those 99.9 percent reputable vendors on this list who
continue to help and help.
Best regards,
Bill
