mrtg is extremely useful for mapping bandwidth of any device that accepts snmp queries.

Alternative way to discover bandwidth usage in realtime:
If you have admin access to your router, if you use a router, you can use
bandwidth mapper util to see a graphical rep of what's using how much - most
major branded routers come with it
