Jeff, while agreeing **wholeheartedly** about not starting mail server
wars, I have often wondered about something you well might know about.
To the best of your knowledge, has anyone ever managed to replace
sendmail with postfix on a Cobalt product, in my case Qube2's or a RAQ2
without breaking the GUI (or anything else for that matter of it!)??????
I'm not continuing an off-topic thread, since I could easily double the
mail handling capacity of a few Qube2's just by replacing sendmail with
postfix. I've never tried it on cobalt products though, owing to
uncertainty about what could break - ergo the end may well not justify
the means.
Thoughts? ideas?
Regards,
-Colin
