Yes, that is what I'm saying. This could be a problem, no? <grin>So I need to somehow append all that stuff to the httpd.conf file? Wonder how it left. I've been using pico -w for all my editing but not sure I know how to copy paste in linux via command line.
Ok, figured out how to redo the httpd.conf file. When I did httpd restart it did it with no squawking. it is running now and I can now log in the way I used to : http://10.xxx.xxx.xxx/admin
But the active monitor is still blinking saying the web server is down (in the Cobalt gui). I also typed a admserv restart and that seemed to go off all right. I'm narrowing this down.. which is great. Thanks.
