I got the following instructions from the knowledge base. Now when it says
disable for everyone except "root", does this mean I can't login as "admin"
anymore? The only way I know to get to root is to telnet in as admin and
"su -".
Also, in the instructions, it tells me to change this line:
rm -f /etc/mtab~ /fastboot /etc/nologin /etc/locks/*
but I don't have that line in there. The closest I have to it is:
rm -f /etc/mtab~ /fastboot /fsckoptions /forcefsck
Thanks,
Jeremy

How do I disable telnet for everyone except root?
Create a file called /etc/nologin.
touch /etc/nologin
Then in /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit,
Change
rm -f /etc/mtab~ /fastboot /etc/nologin /etc/locks/*
To
rm -f /etc/mtab~ /fastboot /etc/locks/*
