David,
:-) Qube is cute, our qube is provided by our holding company they
believe that Qube might be powerfull rather than our linux machine, so
here is it, my Qube, blue box in the large tall 19" rack, alone.
he..he..he..

Bag

A Qube is designed for someone with only one IP and one domain. It is designed to be a gateway, firewall, email server and web server. It allows file sharing across the network.

It is not designed for a hosting company or as a robust server of any type. It only has a 450MHz processor and can only handle 512MB of Ram. You can get a much more powerful white box for the same dollars. But it is not the self contained unit the Qube is.

If you are used to white boxes with webmin, you most likely know linux as well. The Qube has a modified version of RedHat 6.2. I say modified as Cobalt removed parts of it and secured other parts to allow it to function for the use sold.

I was basically questioning why you would have one. A Raq would probably do more what you want. Just curious.
