It seems that the /var/spool/mail does not hold any copies of these emails.

Just to check, are the entries that are shown within the
/homes/sites/siteXX/logs/mail.log actual entries of mail in, mail out or
both and forgive me being thick, but how does one read it:

EG, if a line within mail.log reads

ian@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx - - [07/Jun/2002:17:21:32 +0000] "GET
/mac@xxxxxxxxxxxx/" 200 2855 "http://mail.mccabes-online.co.uk/";
"http://www.meohmy.co.uk/";

Does it means that ian@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (within the server) sent it at
17:21 on the 7th Jun to mac@meohmy, and

mac@xxxxxxxxxxxx - - [07/Jun/2002:17:30:00 +0000] "GET
/ian@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/" 200 2750 "http://www.meohmy.co.uk/";
"http://mail.mccabes-online.co.uk/";

Does this mean that mac@xxxxxxxxxxxx (external server) sent it to my server
at 17:30 on the 7th to ian@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?

I have both types of entries which has got to mean that I am missing emails
somewhere surely.

Anyone got any great ideas on how to locate them, cause this is really
getting to me now.

Thanks in advance,

Mac
