Hello List.
I have posted this message before 2 days and got no answers. I hope
someone will offer some kind of solution this time.
I searched the list Archives for this specific problem but I'm unable to
find the solution.
Usually daily when the log rotates I get a compressed mail log file in the
format maillog.day.gz under the /var/log and stays that way for a month
then gets overwritten by the current month maillogs. Now all the
compressed logs under /var/log are for April and nothing for May or June
except of course the maillog file that update daily to show the day
stats. My logrotate works fine as I can see that from the maillog. It
just suddenly happened and I have no idea how to solve it.
This happened I think after un-installing Webalizer.
What kind of Raq do you have?
Did you alter the log rotate scripts?
My Raq4 only has the current day and a gz of yesterday. I have not made
any modifications.
Under /home/sites/sitexx/log there are logs with a gz of the rotated. The
default is to rotate after 30MB.
