[OBdope-slap (surprised the more reflexive ones didn't already)]
please don't "reply" to a message with a new topic and subject line --
the "In-reply-to" field will reference the id of the previous message,
and the archiving tool will post it (threaded) under the old topic.
Having said that, unless your Cobalt has ssh installed (to check this,
'telnet <your_box_hostname_or_ip_address> 22' -- if you get a connection
refused, you probably don't have it installed), you'll need to enable
telnet at least once to get a root shell on your box in order to
download an ssh package, install it and verify it's working.
While others have had good luck with the ssh.pkg on pkgmaster.com,
I've not. I run a Qube3 at home, and the ssh.pkg for Qube3 seems
to require that the CobaltOS be 6.2 *period*, not 6.2 or better.
As I'm running 6.4, this leaves me out.
Intead, I've just downloaded the latest OpenSSH rpm and installed
it. I don't recall it having any dependencies, so if it did, they
weren't difficult to install either.
