certainly here in the UK (and europe) sun / cobalt can claim anything they 
want, the law they have to provide a 12 month warranty...

as to the stupid spares prices are quite insane RMA-the-entire-server-only 
policy, it's no wonder everyone I know here is moving as fast as they can 
to migrate away...  FYI a new XTR here retails in excess of 3,000 sterling, 
some US$4,400 at current rates
