IANAL. Anyone know law or precedent on "you must use our parts
or lose your entire warranty" tie-ins on commercial products?
It would be much more clear-cut if Magnuson Moss applied to
commercial products. ;-)
To me that smells like an attempt to eliminate competition.
Using Bork's estimate of what constitutes a monopoly (60 to 70
percent of market share in mergers), I think that one might be
able to classify the RAQ as a monopoly in its market segment.
Again, IANAL. Just rambling/griping about claims that one cannot
purchase the exact same product under a different label.
