That notice is simply from your server (httpd@localhost) that
intended@xxxxxxxxxxxxx's server may have been having problems.
Run tail -f /var/log/maillog when that program is trying to send mail to
intended@xxxxxxxxxxxxx, the bad address, and see what it says. If it was
trying to send mail to an unknown user you would get a similar message,
just faster. The message sat in your mailqueue for the standard 5 days
trying to connect and finally failed. You probably got a similar message
after 4 hours telling you the same thing.
I think there are some web based verify functions, or, download
http://www.netdemon.net/ and under Email click Verify and put in the
address you're trying to send to.
