No, I think that's the right idea... although I'd expect an
unreachable code 4 in response. With ping getting through, I'm
assuming that all ICMP is allowed.
Simon, can you provide a TCP dump? Someone such as Larry,
myself, or probably several others can disect the headers and
hopefully see what's going on.
Larry, you say you encountered someone arbitrarily setting DF on
all traffic? Talk about broken...
