Bruce help us out here... what directory does the cobalt keep front page config's (other than the website directory)

If the web directory contents are really completely gon you could
rebuild them using another site as a guide, but since we don't know if
there are problems with the database as well, I'd delete and recreate
the site.  Annoying, time-consuming, and tedious, but it should work.
