Go into the GUI and remove the FP extensions again. Then login with SSH
as root... first login as admin, and then type su - (enter) and the password
again and then cd /home/sites/www.domain.com/web (or
/home/sites/sitenumber/web) and then remove all the _vti_etc folders. There
will be one in /web where the sites main page is located. There will be one
in the images folder. If there's nothing to be saved from the _private
folder, I would delete that also. Search for all the _vti_cnf (etc.) folders
and delete them. You may see _vti_bin, _vti_cnf, _vti_log, _vti_pvt and
_vti_txt. Get rid of them all. You can remove them by typing rm -r vti_cnf
(or whatever the FP folder is named) and hit enter. The -r on the end will
delete the folder and all of its contents. You could delete the .htaccess
and postinfo.html files, but I don't think they would prevent you from
reinstalling the FP extensions. Unless there are problems with the server
itself, you should then be able to go back to the GUI and add the FP
extensions.

Hope that gets you going - Keith

Right, I cleared every last file in there so all there was left was . and .. I then ticked the GUI for FP extensions and it created a folder called _vti_pvt but when you try and publish it still says there are no extensions and when I take the tick back out on the GUI it still says that the extensions has not been deleted successfully.

Any config files I should look at?
