The RT install instructions and install scripts, perhaps due to my own
lack of vigiliance and clear thought and doing this on a Monday
morning I let CPAN run. Since Perl, tries to make it easy for its
users to use the current version, I thought I'd see what harm it could
do.
As my .procmailrc and the web interface stopped working I realized it
could do a lot of harm.
I did have the forsight to include the directory with the Cobalt
stuff. An attempt to issue a command using the cobalt stuff seems to
indicate that the Postgres stuff is what I lost.
While it might be best to restore -- though I have no idea how -- and
try again reading through the notes from
http://www.oakbox.com/artcles/upgrade_perl.html makes me think that I
simply need to straighten out the perl seach path '@INC', though I'm
not quite sure what I did wrong. The output from an attempt to change
the postgres database passwd is included here.
Can't locate Pg.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.1/i686-linux /usr/
