I have a strange problem with webalizer. I know I shouldn't have messed
around, but whilst trying to fix a MySQL problem I messed with the
permissions on the server (not sure what though).
Anyway, now when I try to go to www.<domain>.com/stats I get the typical
password box, but the siteadmin or the admin passwords don't work. The
only way I can get in is to delete the .htaccess file.
The groups on the users are correct, and the groups on the folder is
correct, as I have compared it with my 2nd raq.
I am not sure how webalizer deals with passwords, or where it gets them
from, but I can only assume that I've CHOWN'd something to root and now
it won't let me in.
I am really new to all this, but I feel like I'm searching for a needle
in a haystack.
Thanks in advance
Jim...
