Hi,
I have a corrupt boot partition. The machine still boots and runs without
error but I am unable to use partition magic to copy the boot partition.
PowerQuest says the error is uncorrectable and the solution is to delete
the partition and recreate it.
How can I recreate the contents of this partition? Will I need to use the
OS Restore and then replace the new (default) /home and /var partitions
with my current ones? Suggestions?
There are 5 partitions on the hard drive:
Linux Ext2 Pri 760.9 <-- Var (right?)
EPBR Log 31.4 <-- Boot
Linux Swap Log 117.6 <-- Swap
Linux Ext2 Pri 203.10 <---- What is this partition ??
Linux Ext2 Pri 8644.4 <-- Home
Thanks!
- Bill
