I've got an email alias on a RAQ3 that's bouncing - it's been added using the GUI, and I can see it in the /etc/virtusertable file - I've even run meta-verify.pl -u -a and I get one invalid user still, so I tried -u -i as options:
[root@ns admin]# ./meta-verify.pl -s -i
meta-verify.pl
"system & database verifier"
version 2.1
Duncan Laurie (duncan@xxxxxxxxxx)
(c) 2000 Cobalt Networks, Inc
checking system+database coherency...
database | 94
system | 99
total | 94
valid | 92
invalid | 2
repairing 2 INVALID virtual site(s)...
site66 | ERROR (entry is already valid)
site31 | ERROR (entry is already valid)
OK
[root@ns admin]# ./meta-verify.pl -u -i
meta-verify.pl
"system & database verifier"
version 2.1
Duncan Laurie (duncan@xxxxxxxxxx)
(c) 2000 Cobalt Networks, Inc
checking system+database coherency...
database | 252
system | 253
total | 253
valid | 252
invalid | 1
repairing 1 INVALID user(s)...
mysql | ERROR (entry does not exist in database)
mysql | ERROR (invalid home directory)
mysql | ERROR (does not exist in system)
mysql | ERROR (entry not in database OR system)
OK
That doesn't help - but my one alias that won't resolve keeps bouncing email as unknown...
I am still stuck with two invalid sites, and 1 invalid user, and I don't know if it's even connected to the bouncing email. Any suggestions please?
thanks
Greg
