Hi Si,

I *just* had one of my developers build this EXACT application for a client
of mine over the past week. Here are some of the highlights:

-entirely web based, written in PHP w/ MySQL backend. Currently running on a
RaQ4.
-easily customizable to fit within the client's design templates
-admin menu (for the client to use) with the following choices:
  Build Newsletter
  List Subscribers
  Import Subscribers
  Default Components
-default header, footer, subject, from address, from name, and body (all can
be modified at will for each campaign)
-imports CVS format file (exported from Excel) for subscribers who sign up
"in the store" (staff then manually enters list into Excel)
-parsing enabled (inserts customer's name or any other field in message)
-message preview onscreen before sending
-test mode (sends a copy of message to test users for verification prior to
the send to everyone in the database)
-online subscribe (customers can enroll via the web, with confirmation)
-online unsubscribe (customers can unenroll by entering email address)
-linked unsubscribe (clicking URL in email automatically unenrolls)

Due to the parsing and customization of each message sent, each message is
spooled individually. I haven't volume tested this application yet, as my
immediate requirement was only 1000 rows and I'm sure it will handle that
with no problems... I've got a demo online if you'd like to give it a try.
If you're interested, I'd be more than glad to come to an arrangement with
you.

Thanks,

Brandon

Brandon,
I would like to give this a try, if this is possible?
Regards,
Declan.
