Yes. I pointed out a simple-to-implement alternative solution, that's
all.

I'm trying hard these days to make sure the posts I make add something
to the discussion. In this case I thought that even though my
alternative solution was days late, it was still a workable solution for
others who might find themselves wanting to do what you did, but who
didn't have the expertise or who weren't using linux solutions.

I'd like to do that. I'm currently using Netscape 4.72, and will soon
be switching to Mozilla 1.x or Netscape 6.x. If you or anyone else
knows how to change the default quoting behavior, and would write me
offlist with a solution, I'd appreciate it. The capability doesn't seem
to be included in the Netscape "preferences".

In this case, I thought I was, by offering a simple alternate solution.
I'm sorry if I offended you; it certainly wasn't my intent.
