Hi Rick,
What you're seeing is the result of your rpm installations failing on their
dependencies. That means that the program you want to install requires other
programs to be installed first. For example your first package requires php
to be installed first before the package will install itself.

for a list of Cobalt packages, and here:
http://pkgmaster.com/
for some others.
Also, use the search area here:
http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-users/
to see if other people have asked the same questions you are asking. Chances
are you can find your answers there.
