While continuing the discussion onlist might end up being quite
offtopic, I don't see a problem putting the simple reply onlist; someone
else may want to use their RaQ/Qube as a news-server:

Are you considering a full usenet news feed? That's about three T-1s of
data every day for incoming usenet news. You'll need a fat pipe and
lots of storage space. You might want to look at the great article at
