Everybody -

Thank you for the suggestions and the help.  As another user on this list
pointed out to me (although off list), the problem was in the permissions
given to the directory that sendmail runs in.  Seems we accidently CHMOD'ed
ourselves right into the problem.  As Homer says.... "Doh!"

Thanks to Jeff Lasman who found my issue and sprang in to help.

After yesterday, I will really think twice before deeming ANYTHING as too
simple or too silly.

Also, this reinforces the value of this e-mail list.   Again, your help is
appreciated.
