1. Can I use CPAN to upgrade and maintain perl the way I am used to on
other installations?

2. Can anyone point me to printing? LPR would suffice. I've searched
archives and found that other people have set up printing, but I
couldn't find any of the documents mentioned that explain how.

3. What RPMs can I use and how do I tell? I have established that I
can use the basic web interface for some task and that I have no
trouble compiling software. I've started to read developer and user
docs. I know it is RedHat(ish) but I don't know which version.

4. I'm planning on moving multiple domains to the new machine. Most
will be subdomains of an existing domain --
e.g. test.saratoga.lib.ny.us. I need mail to work, or I won't see any
messages from this list after next weekend. I am a little confused by
the interface as it seems you can have multiple email accounts
i.e. josh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and josh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
even if they both share the same IP. I have a .org and a .lib.ny.us
domain for this organization and I would like mail sent to josh@
either one to go to my single account. I also expect to create other
domains with different IPs and would like that kept separate. As I've
been testing I get the feeling I am misunderstan what is required by
mail and dns to get this working. Of course I haven't done it yet.
