Perhaps I don't fully understand your problem. Going to multiple sites
at your private (internal) server is what I am talking about. You just
add each domain name to your hosts file with same IP. Apache picks up
the ip/host and looks up it's own virtual site. You should be able to
access all your private (internal) sites no problem.

Thanks, but that is a solution to the wrong problem. I have no problem
getting to the server. The problem is that there are multiple domains
at a
single IP address. Going to that IP address...before the DNS servers
point
the NEW domain to that IP will bring up one of the older domains already
at
that IP address.
