Hi,
This is most likely the result of not having sufficient permissions..
Do an 'ls -l' and see who the files and/or directories in question are
owned by..
Ownership is the third major field and group ownership is the one right
after it..
In other words, you might need to be another user or if it is system
files you are trying to change, root!!!
If it is root you need to be, su to root and do the operations you want
and exit as root..
