Todd,
Calm down - I had the same thing happen to me.
First, you *can* delete admin's mail file in /var/spool/mail - I have
no idea why it isn't symlinked like everything else (STUPID) but if
your admin box is filled up and you can't POP to it, there's one
answer.
Second answer - if you've got the SSH pkg installed on the box, SSH in
and log right in as root. Then do what you need to do. No need to
login first as admin and then su - to root - you can get straight in
as root from the .pkg SSH installation.
You may also need to rebuild the PostGres database after all of this;
instructions are in the archives. I had to do it - lots of things were
screwed up after /var filled up from the admin email getting clogged.
