I agree with Phil. A majority of his scripts are on average of 7 years old.
Matt created those when he was around 15 and at the time they did a good job
at what they were designed for. Since FormMail's release, there have been
numerous exploits found by spammers and there have been 11 revisions (no,
not all security releases) from Matt including 2 this year. Is he the best
programmer in the world? No. Does he have the best scripts ever? Nope. Matt
will tell you this. His claim to fame was he was in the Net rush early and
filled a need. Because of that he still gets good traffic and has links all
over so his scripts are still widely used. I just don't understand why he
gets attacked over and over for something he did when he was 15...and it
wasn't like it was a bad thing.

If you don't like them, don't use them. Just my thoughts,
