Hi there,
A follow-up question after searching the archives for information on the
post-OS2 problem with ProFTP / binding to ports already bound (cannot bind
192.168.1.15:21 to server 'ProFTPD', already bound to 'ProFTPD').
I have logged into the server as Root and removed the duplicate entries from
the /etc/proftd.conf file.
QUESTION: Should there be _any_ entries in this file at all? It turned out
that there were only 12 of the hosted sites listed, and each one had been
duplicated. I can't see any reason why these sites were present in the conf
file; only 3 of them had anonymous access enabled - the others seemed to
have nothing (GUI-wise) in common.
Many thanks.
