I am currently trying to move the library here over to use a RaQ
XTR. I have an existing RedHat setup and want to move various functons
over one at a time. I'm still very new at this RaQ stuff.

I wouild like to add the RaQ XTR to the machines being backed up by
Amanda, at least until I have time to examine the other backup options
included. 

Has anyone installed Amanda on a RaQ XTR (or other RaQ)? I'm only
interested in running the client. I don't want to buy any of the
alternatives until I can gauge how much data I'm backing up.

Is there a way to let Amanda run without opening up inetd? (Why is my
inetd even running when all the services are commented out?)

Can I simply download a redhat Amanda Client RPM or an SRPM?
