Hello List,
I reviewed the archives of setting up the raq4 as a backup mail server. I
was hoping someone can clarify some things for me. I read the sendmail faq
and understand the DNS pointers and JFYI we are not using the raq for DNS.
I read in one archive that
--snip--
Are you saying the RaQ is hosting the website but not the primary mail
server? If that's correct then you're going to run into problems if you
use the same Raq to be a backup mail-server for the domain...
--end--
I need to do exactly this.
We host the domain but point the primary mail server to a different email
server.
When the internet connection to the offsite email server goes down we need
to catch all the mail intended for their domain and spool it to their server
when it comes back on line.
Is there anyway we can configure the raq to do this?
